I have checked everything, I have the latest driver versions installed, and windows. Selecting an old date driver doesn't help either, after rebooting the system the “sound enhancement” turns on by itself.
How do I permanently disable “sound enhancement” in sound settings?
Every time I reboot my computer or laptop I have to turn off the “sound enhancement” because the setting is constantly going down, is it possible to fix it somehow?

Prevent Windows from Re-enabling Enhancements via Registry:
This helps stop drivers or Windows Update from resetting your settings.
- Press Win + R, type: regedit
- Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices\Audio\Render
- Under Render, find the long subkey that corresponds to your output device.
- Inside that, look for a subkey named Properties
- Add or edit this DWORD:
Name: {9e8c7d26-7e4b-4c41-a1e3-25b844d44691},3
Value: 0 (hexadecimal)
This disables audio processing like loudness equalization or enhancements.

Thank you for Posting in Microsoft Community.
I understand how important it is to disable the Sound enhancement in sound settings.
For us to further understand the situation that you have I will be asking a few questions.
I want to ask if you have tried to run windows update as there may be an update for your audio driver.
Have you also tried to manually update the Audio drivers in device manager?
Try to open device manager by pressing windows key then type device manager then look for sound, video game controllers, Clik the drop-down icon beside the sound, video game controllers
You should see the High definition or Realtek audio driver
From there you must right click then click on update driver then select browse then let me pick. You should see the versions of the driver and from there you must select the old date driver and see if it fixes the issue.
Please do get back to me so we can further troubleshoot on the issue.
Best Regards,
Bench
