Hi ss.Parker.
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.
I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're facing with Genshin Impact on your Windows 10 computer. The "Bad Module Info has stopped working" error is a common issue in gaming. Here are some steps you can try to resolve it:
> Disable Fullscreen Optimizations
Navigate to the Genshin Impact executable (GenshinImpact.exe).
Right-click Properties > Compatibility.
Check "Disable fullscreen optimizations."
Click Apply and restart your PC.
> Run the Game as Administrator
Right-click the Genshin Impact launcher or .exe file.
Select Run as Administrator.
> Adjust Compatibility Settings
Right-click GenshinImpact.exe > Properties > Compatibility.
Select Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 8.
Click Apply and test.
> Disable GPU Overlay & Background Apps
If you have NVIDIA GeForce Experience or AMD Radeon Software, disable overlays.
Exit Discord, Steam, or MSI Afterburner, as they can interfere with rendering.
> Update DirectX & Visual C++ Redistributables
Download and install the latest DirectX from Microsoft.
Update Visual C++ Redistributables here.
> Perform a Clean Boot
Press Win + R, type msconfig, and hit Enter.
Go to the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services, then click Disable all.
Next, go to the Startup tab in Task Manager and disable all non-essential apps.
Restart and try launching the game.
> Check for Memory Conflicts
Run Windows Memory Diagnostic (Win + R > type mdsched.exe).
Let it scan for errors—faulty RAM can cause crashes.
> Reinstall Genshin Impact in a Different Location
Completely uninstall the game.
Reinstall it on a different drive (if available).
Try running it from a new directory.
Perform Repair in-place upgrade: This will reinstall your Operating System and will keep your files and apps. This will take some time depending on the computer performance and internet speed. You can follow the steps from this link: How to do a Windows 10 Repair Upgrade - Microsoft Community
Let me know what happens after trying these steps!
Best Regards,
