I went into the bluetooth settings, and removed the mouse because it simply doesnt let you disconnect from any bluetooth device for some reason, later I try to reconnect and I find out it wont pair, I cant find it anywhere, even when I put the mouse mode on 5.0 or 4.0 bluetooth.

Hello ,

I’m here to help you in resolving your issue

1: Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices

2: Turn Bluetooth OFF, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back ON

3: Reboot your PC just to be safe

Remove Ghost Device from Device Manager

Even though you "removed" it from settings, Windows might still have a hidden record.

1: Press Win + X > choose Device Manager

2: Click View > Show hidden devices

3: Expand Bluetooth and Mice and other pointing devices

4: Look for any faded entries that might be your old mouse (often named “HID-compliant mouse” or brand name)

5: Right-click and choose Uninstall device

6: Restart your PC again

Put the Mouse into Pairing Mode

Check your mouse’s manual for how to reset it or enter pairing mode. Common ways:

  1. Hold the power button for 5–10 seconds until a light starts blinking
  2. Switch to a different Bluetooth channel (some mice support multiple profiles — useful here)
  3. Make sure Bluetooth 5.0 or 4.0 mode is activated and working

If the light is solid and not blinking, it may not be in pairing mode.
