Hello ,
I’m here to help you in resolving your issue
Force Windows to Use the Second Monitor’s Audio :
- Right-click on the sound icon in the taskbar > Sound settings
- Scroll to Output, click the dropdown under Choose where to play sound
- If your second monitor (with speakers) appears > select it.
If it doesn’t show up: Go to Control Panel > Sound
- Under Playback tab, see if your second monitor shows up (might be called:
"Digital Audio (HDMI)" or your monitor brand name)
- If it’s disabled:
Right-click in blank space > Enable “Show Disabled Devices”
Right-click the second monitor > Enable > Set as Default Device.
If your second monitor doesn't even show up in Sound settings, make sure:
- It’s connected via HDMI or DisplayPort (not VGA or DVI)
- The monitor’s internal speakers are enabled in its on-screen menu
- The HDMI/DP cable supports audio (most do).
You can right-click on the desktop > Display settings and make your second monitor the primary, which sometimes makes Windows default to its audio.
