Can't Create Windows 11 Hyper-V VM

I'm seeing the following issue on both of the following:

  • Dell Precision Workstation set up with a personal windows account, running Windows 11 Pro.
  • HP ZBook set up with a corporately managed account, running Windows 10 Enterprise.

I'm using the following Win 11 image as the boot image for installing Win 11 on the Hyper-V VM:

I create a VM with the following characteristics:

  • Generation 2
  • Secure Boot enabled
  • 4096 MB memory
  • 4 virtual processors
  • A network adaptor to a wired ethernet connection.

When I start the VM, I have to immediately reset it, and then hit the space key to even get it to boot. (It took me a while and some web investigation to figure that out.) Once I got it to boot, I select Windows 11 Pro from the list of available OSs. The installer then tells me that my computer does not meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11.

What am I missing?

    Hi,

Have you enabled the TPM functionality on the virtual machine? You can select the Enable Trusted Platform Module checkbox in the virtual machine settings or use the Enable-VMTPM.command.

You can check the system requirements over here
