    Hi Emy,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Microsoft Community.

In your description, you want Copilot to be able to edit pictures and generate some copyrighted images.

I do understand your desire to update Copilot and make it more functional.

Allow me to give you some brief explanations.

At present, the functionality of Copilot's Image creator is indeed not perfect. It currently only supports generating new images and cannot directly edit existing images.

For example, editing an existing image involves changing elements in the image (e.g., adding, removing, or adjusting colors and styles, etc.), which usually relies on more specialized image editing tools.

In the current framework, there are limitations to the image generation and editing capabilities, especially when modifications need to be made from an existing image. While technically possible, the need to implement these features may involve more complex algorithmic and functional development.

At the same time, Copilot currently suffers from some common bugs (e.g. slower response, lost history, etc.), which again need to be worked on by the development team in order to further improve the user experience with Copilot.

(I've personally lost the history of Copilot generated images)

We understand what you're trying to do and appreciate your suggestions. As a community support team, we will do our best to provide you with help and information. However, we kindly remind you that we are not the development team of Copilot, so your suggestions and ideas on the community platform may not be directly communicated to the development team.

We also hope that the development team can take the suggestions and feedback provided by users as far as possible in order to further improve the user experience.

If you would like the development team to have a better understanding of your needs and suggestions, we recommend that you submit your feedback to the Copilot development team through official channels so that they can see your suggestions and make improvements as needed.

For example, in Copilot for Browsers, you can give feedback by following the steps below.

    https://copilot.microsoft.com/

1 Click your Microsoft account avatar in the upper right corner of the application.

2 Select ‘Give Feedback’ from the menu.

3 Provide a brief description of the issue you are facing. The more detailed the feedback, the more it will help the development team investigate.

You can also send feedback on this issue to the development team at Microsoft using the link below.

Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app - Microsoft Support

After submitting your feedback, please provide us with the feedback link and we will vote in favor of it, which helps the development team to notice the issue earlier.

Also, you can try using some other AI models as an alternative.

It's my honor to provide you with some suggestions and I hope my efforts can be of some convenience to you.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

    Best regards,

Zev - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
