New PC: General system instability and games crashing. Multiple days of troubleshooting, still no fix!

I have:

  • Used DDU to remove and download various driver versions for my graphics card (7800XT).
  • Performed a fresh install of Windows.
  • Ran Memtest86 overnight.
  • Tried deleting and reinstalling games.
  • Hard-reset CMOS (by removing battery and shorting the reset switch) and reset Bios.
  • Manually updated chipset and graphics drivers.
  • Manually updated BIOS to latest version.
  • Visually inspected hardware and double-checked all connections.
  • Re-seated RAM and GPU.

But I am still at a loss! The system is generally stable but has unexpectedly restarted once at idle, and twice when downloading/updating a game. And then otherwise will just crash randomly whilst playing games. Sometimes I can play for 5 hours with no problems, sometimes I cannot even start (let alone finish) a game of Overwatch. Sometimes the game freezes and I just have to manually go to the desktop and open task manager to close the game. Sometimes the game just closes and forces me to desktop. Sometimes the PC just turns powers-off instantly (like a power trip) and then restarts.

GPU: RX 7800XT Gigabyte Gaming OC 16GB

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X

Motherboard: ASRock B850M-X wifi

BIOS Version: 3.2 (current latest on ASRock's support page)

RAM: Silicon Power DDR5 2x16GB 6000MT/s CL30 1.35v (PC5-48000).

PSU: Gigabyte UD750GM

Operating System & Version: Windows 11 Professional Edition Windows 11 Pro 24H2 26100.3775

GPU Drivers: Adrenalin 25.3.2 (Optional) (and previously using Adrenalin 25.3.1 (WHQL Recommended))

Chipset Drivers: AMD's current latest chipset Driver 7.02.13.148

    Here's the test results. I did 20 mins. Literally 0 errors and ran like a dream. Hotspot temps got quite high (97.9C for CPU, and 87C for GPU) but my PC didn't seem to be particularly upset or struggling.

    Thanks for the information and the memory dumps.

    Based on the crash dumps you shared, it seems like your system is encountering memory-related errors at a very low level, either during a Windows Defender scan or while handling basic interrupts. This typically indicates issues with unstable memory or the memory controller, rather than problems with drivers or software.

    Is your RAM running an EXPO profile, or is it still using the default JEDEC settings?

    To check, you'll need to enter your BIOS look for a setting called EXPO, EXPO I, EXPO II, or sometimes just Memory Profile under the OC Tweaker or Memory tab.

    If it’s set to something like "Profile 1," "Enabled," or shows your RAM speed as 6000 MT/s, EXPO is active.

    Let me know what you find. If possible, disable it and check how the system behaves.

    Any chance you can share these files directly to OneDrive?

    Generally speaking, there is a huge chance that this is hardware instability.

    Can you please check Windows Event Viewer and share screenshots if possible, specifically looking for any WHEA Logger events (especially Event ID 18, 19, or 47) that occurred around the times when the PC shut off instantly like a breaker trip?
