2024-08-07T02:41:34+00:00 I started seeing this shutdown issue when I began to use my PowerA xbox controller.
Until MS decide to fix this 'cosmetic' bug in Windows 11, a well known workaround is to simply disable the 'GameInput Service' in services management.
The xbox controller continues to work in games.

2024-03-22T03:59:23+00:00 Thanks much this is exactly my issue.
I've been trying to figure this out for a month.
My question is, this doesn't seem to be affecting anything, and now being over a month since this update, do you think it would be OK to uninstall it or should I just wait for a patch?
