hello,

I have some issues with my battery on Asus zenbook flip laptop after updating Windows 11 23H2 patch.

While I have the plug on my laptop and it charges, when I unplug it, laptop turns off.

I tried to reinstall drivers on device manager, but nothing seems to change and I cannot use a restore point or uninstall the previous update.

Any help?

Thanks

Pan

I have the exact same problem with two different ASUS computers. After an update in December 2024, both stopped recognizing the battery. I have contacted ASUS support on several occasions, but the only solution they suggest is performing a factory reset to see if the problem persists.

It is completely unacceptable that after an official update, two laptops stop functioning correctly and that no real solution is offered to resolve the issue. This points to a significant issue with either the update or the devices themselves, and customers should not have to endure such inconveniences without adequate support.

Hi, I've had the same problem since the last update. Occasionally, when I charge my Asus laptop, it indicates that it's fully charged, but when I turn it on, it shuts down immediately (0% battery). When I plug it in, it starts from 0%.

I've used your method; the battery problems checkup shows 0 problems and 0 suggestions.

I've never faced such a problem and have been using my Zephyrus G14 for over two years. I'm 100% sure it's related to the last major update (Windows 11 Version 24H2) because I updated it at night, and the problem started the next morning.
