Go to the folder where the game was installed and start it from "DOOMTheDarkAges.exe" it worked for me.
Can anyone help me with Error Code: 0x80073CF3?
I have a problem, where even though it says updating 100%, it goes straight too error and I haven't been able to find a solution to this in days. The game I'm trying to download is the new DOOM: The Dark Ages, so far as I know I might be the only person with this problem for this game so far as I see no one else complaining about this issue. Edit: I actually got fed up with this issue and went on to cancel the download, which by the way tells you it will straight up uninstall the game if you do (you guys should really change that, it makes this process way more nerve racking) it actually happened to be already installed, I guess this issue comes from the game trying to install twice but it can't since the files are already there. Another update to add to this, it actually did not work, so it just made me uninstall the game leaving me with no fix for this issue, thanks Microsoft for being so considerate for your community.

2025-05-15T07:25:45+00:00 Same here. I launched it for the .exe in the game folder. Game runs fine and has my Xbox user logged in.
Might try downloading it again at a later date, but for launch day I will use the exe method.
