    Good morning Cindy.

In that case Use Command Prompt to Enable USB Settings in Power Options

Press the Windows key, type cmd, then right-click on Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator.

In the Command Prompt window, copy and paste the following command, then press Enter:

    powercfg -attributes SUB_USB 2a737441-1930-4402-8d77-b2bebba308a3 -ATTRIB_HIDE

This command unhides the USB suspend setting in your power options.

Step 2: Edit the Power Plan Again

Press Windows key + S, type Edit power plan, and open it.

Click on Change advanced power settings.

Now under USB settings, you should see USB selective suspend setting.

Set both On battery and Plugged in to Disabled.

    Click Apply and OK.

After this, restart your laptop and then reconnect your docking station.

    Good morning,

I have followed the instructions, but in the Advanced settings tab there is no option with "usb"

I have searched for it and there is no option on my laptop to change this setting?

Thank you for letting me know. Please follow this order carefully:

    1. Fully Remove the USB Controllers. This helps clear any faulty configurations.

Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.

Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers section.

Right-click each entry that says USB Root Hub, Generic USB Hub, or Unknown USB Device, and select Uninstall device.

Do this for all USB-related entries, especially the one with the error (code 43).

Once done, restart your laptop. Windows will automatically reinstall the default drivers on reboot.

    1. Disable USB Selective Suspend, This prevents Windows from turning off USB devices to save power.

Press Windows key + S, type Edit power plan, and open it.

Click on Change advanced power settings.

Expand USB settings > USB selective suspend setting.

Set it to Disabled for both On battery and Plugged in.

    Click Apply and OK.

    1. Now Go back to Device Manager.

Under Universal Serial Bus controllers, right-click each USB Root Hub and choose Properties.

Go to the Power Management tab.

Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

Repeat this for all USB Root Hub entries.

    1. Optional: Test Without the Docking Station

Try plugging one of the monitors directly into your laptop (if ports are available) without using the docking station. This helps isolate whether the issue is with the dock’s connection or with system USB handling.

Once these steps are done, reconnect the docking station and check if the monitors are detected.

Please let me know what happens after trying this. The next step based on the result.

    Best regards,

    Udit

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

A USB port reset request failed.
