Blue Screen (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - Netwtw14.sys)

I'm experiencing repeated BSODs with the error DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and the crash points to Netwtw14.sys. This seems to be related to the Intel wireless driver.

I checked using !analyze -v in WinDbg, and the crash consistently points to:

FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: AV_Netwtw14!unknown_function

MODULE_NAME: Netwtw14

BUGCHECK_CODE: D1

I tried rolling back the wireless driver, but that didn’t resolve the issue.

Can someone kindly help me with this?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

You are correct, that is a driver associated to the Intel WiFi instalaltion.

    1

Go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and re-install (not update) the version of Intel WiFi (WLAN) drivers they recommend for your PC model, that will be the most compatible version of the drivers.

    2

If that does not resolve the system crashes, go to the Intel website to download the Intel Driver and Support Assistant, then use that utility to update all your Intel drivers.
