    Hello,

Your computer will still run Windows 10 normally even after support ends, it won't suddenly stop working.

It just means you won't automatically receive new features or security updates from Microsoft anymore.

However, starting in October, Microsoft will offer an Extended Security Update program that consumers can buy for $30 per year if you want to keep getting critical security updates without upgrading your hardware. In fact, there's also a way to get this ESU service for free.

You don't need to buy a new computer immediately. You can continue using your current one safely by either staying cautious online or enrolling in the ESU program.

Hi there, Donna-chi! This is Marc. Thank you for reaching out to the community.

When Windows 10 support ends on October 14, 2025, it means Microsoft will stop providing security updates, bug fixes, and technical support. But don’t worry, you won’t be left completely stranded, and there are good options that don’t require buying a new PC.

Your PC won’t suddenly stop working. You can still use Windows 10, but It becomes less secure over time as new vulnerabilities won't be patched. Some apps (especially browsers and online services) may slowly stop supporting it. Microsoft Support won't assist with issues related to it anymore.

Hope this information helps! If you have other concern don't hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,
