how do I disable the little black bar at the top of the screen whenever I move a window? Also when the mouse cursor hovers over the full screen box between minimize and exit, I get suggestions as to what type of layout I want. How do I disable that?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Open the Settings App.

    Go to System - Multi-tasking.

In the Snap settings, disable this option - Show Snap Layouts when I drag a window to the top of my screen.

That will remove that panel from the top of your screen.

If you want to disable the option on the maximize button on app Windows, then disable Snap Layouts totally on that settings window.
