    Hi Francisco,

Thanks for reaching out Microsoft Community Forum. I totally understand your concern about your recordings without an audio. Allow me to help.

Actually, the snipping tool only records your voice not the system sounds like Youtube. while OBS Studio can capture both. But make sure it has proper set up.

    You may try this:

► For Snipping Tool (Windows 11):

    • Open Snipping Tool

    • Click the video icon to start screen recording.

    • Before recording

    • Click the gear icon

    • If you want to capture your voice

    • Turn on

    Record microphone

It does not record internal sounds like videos or games

    ► For OBS Studio:

    • Open OBS

    • Go to Settings

    • Then Audio

    • And set:

→ Desktop Audio = “Default” (for system sound)

→ Mic Audio = your microphone

    • On the main screen

    • Check if the volume bars move when sound plays

    • Start recording.

    ► If nothing works:

    • Go to Settings

    • Then Privacy

    • And Microphone

→ Make sure OBS or Snipping Tool is allowed to use mic

    Update sound drivers:

    • Press Windows + X

    • Then Device Manager

    • Select Sound

    • Right click your audio device

    • Then Update driver

I hope this helps and works for you.

    Best Regards,
