Opening a Zip Folder/File

I have followed all steps to open the Zip drive. Right clicking to extract just the folder has the file disappear. Extracting the file only does not encourage the file to open or move to a different location. Moving the file from the zipped folder to the desktop does not move the file. I have followed the how to on Microsoft and it's not making a difference. Is there another way I can open a zip folder/file?

    Hi ,

I understand, but having 7-zip and winrar for other extensions besides zip helps if you need it in the future, you can always count on the Microsoft community, I'm glad you found a solution.

I ended up using a third party website to open the files that would not need to be downloaded to my work computer.

    Hi ,

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

Well you can unzip with Winrar or 7zip which are free apps.
