"Thank you! I updated my BIOS, and now everything is back to normal!"
Stuck on the logo screen
I'm stuck at the logo screen. The only thing I can access is the BIOS. I can't go to Safe Mode or the Advanced Options because it gets stuck at the logo. I've already tried all the troubleshooting steps like removing and reinstalling the CMOS battery, as well as the RAM and SSD. The BIOS detects my SSD and it's working. I even bought a new SSD with an OS installed. I also tried using a bootable USB — it gets detected, but once it starts loading, it just gets stuck at the logo.
I also tried restarting three times to trigger automatic repair, but it still gets stuck. Even Safe Mode doesn't work because it goes to the loading screen, which is just the logo being displayed.
I checked closely to see if the keyboard would work or if the Caps Lock light would turn on when it reaches the logo screen, but it doesn’t — the Caps Lock indicator doesn’t even light up.
Please help me.

2025-06-17T09:55:59+00:00 Hi Christ,
So sorry to hear you are still stuck on the boot logo without a warning.
This might be the possible hardware fail reasons:
☻ Power Supply Issues or Spikes
◘ A sudden power spike or bad charger can damage the inside of your laptop
◘ Even a normal shutdown might leave the system stuck if the power got cut
♥️ Fix to try:
◘ Try using a different charger
◘ Unplug everything, remove the battery (if you can), then plug it back in
☻ Overheating
◘ If the laptop got too hot (even when idle or charging), it can damage parts inside
♥️ Signs to check:
◘ Is the fan loud or not spinning at all?
◘ Is the laptop very warm at the bottom or back?
☻ Bad RAM or SSD
◘ Faulty RAM or SSD can freeze the boot process and keep you stuck at the logo
♥️ Fix to try:
◘ Take out the SSD and RAM (if you know how)
◘ Try booting with just one RAM stick
◘ Try booting without the SSD then see if it gets past the logo
☻ BIOS Corruption
◘ Sometimes the BIOS gets messed up (like during updates or power cuts), and the system won’t start properly
♥️ Fix to try:
◘ Look for a way to reset BIOS or load default settings (usually by holding a special key during boot like F2, F10, or DEL)
◘ If your laptop has a tiny reset hole (CMOS)
◘ Use a pin to press it
☻ GPU Problem
◘ The RTX 3060 graphics card could be failing or not switching correctly with the built-in graphics
◘ This can stop the system from showing anything or loading Windows
♥️ Fix to try:
◘ Connect your laptop to an external monitor
◘ If you can enter BIOS
◘ Then try setting it to use only the built-in GPU (if the option exists)
☻ Motherboard or CPU Failure
◘ This is the worst-case, but sometimes parts just fail because of heat, wear, or power problems
◘ If nothing else works then this could be it
☻ You Can Try Right Now☻
◘ Unplug the charger, remove battery (if possible), press the power button for 20 seconds, then plug back in and try again
◘ Remove SSD and RAM, try booting with just one RAM stick
◘ Try BIOS recovery or reset
◘ Plug in an external monitor to check if screen or GPU is the problem
◘ If your laptop is still under warranty you may contact Gigabyte support
I hope this helps and works for you.

2025-06-17T02:49:17+00:00 Hi Christ,
Thanks for reaching out Microsoft Community Forum. I totally understand you feel stuck and frustrated when your PC did not respond especially after trying multiple tries to fix it. Let me help to guide you on what to do next.
It seems like it is not a Windows issue and it’s a hardware or motherboard issue.
It’s getting stuck before Windows can even load, which usually means: The motherboard, CPU, or power supply is having a problem. Or, something in the BIOS is not set up right. Or, some other hardware is causing the system to freeze.
** Step1: Unplug Everything
- Remove USBs, keyboard, mouse, printer, etc.
- Leave only the power cable, monitor, 1 RAM stick, SSD or USB boot drive
- Then try to turn it on.
** Step2: Reset BIOS Settings
- Go into the BIOS
- Choose “Reset to Defaults”
- Then Save and Exit
** Step3: Clear the CMOS Again (Real Reset)
- Turn off and unplug the PC
- Take out the CMOS battery (it is a round silver battery on the motherboard)
- Then wait 5 minutes
- Hold the power button for 30 seconds
- Put the battery back and turn it on
**Step 4: Try a Basic Boot
- Remove the graphics card (if you have one)
- Use just the monitor plugged into the motherboard
- Only 1 RAM stick
- Try to boot from USB again
**Step5: Change Boot Settings in BIOS
- Turn Secure Boot = OFF
- Turn CSM (Legacy Boot) = ON
- Set boot mode to Legacy or UEFI (try both)
- Then Save and Exit
If it still Freezes:
Then it’s likely one of these:
- Bad motherboard
- Power supply issue
- CPU or BIOS chip problem
If you have already tried this:
- New SSD
- Bootable USB
- CMOS reset
- Different RAM slots
Then your motherboard or CPU might be failing.
☻ What you can do now
- Try to borrow parts (RAM, power supply) from a friend or shop to test.
- Try a different bootable USB made with Rufus.
- If nothing works, bring it to a repair shop then likely a hardware failure.
I hope this helps and works for you.
