Where can I find the Windows 10 lock screen Picture of the Day for July 4, 2025?

This folder gets populated with recent background images:

    C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\Assets

(replace YourName in the above path)

The set of files changes often but you might find some leftovers.  Oddly, these files are created with long-winded names and without an extension.  You might run a script to copy the files into a temporary folder while renaming them (eg, 1.jpg, 2.jpg, ...) then run an image viewer.

    Hello, Aajeeb Ali

Thank you for your feedback. The Windows 10 lock screen “Focus” image (Daily Image) for July 4, 2025, cannot be directly obtained for the following reasons:

    1. Dynamic download mechanism: Windows “Focus” lock screen images are automatically downloaded shortly before the display date and are not pre-stored years in advance.
    2. No public archive: Microsoft does not provide a public archive of past or future “Focus” images, as these images are inherently temporary.
    3. Regional differences: The displayed images may vary depending on your region or device settings, and there is no single “official” image.

I hope my explanation makes sense. I look forward to your feedback.

    Best regards
Kai Ho | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
