Hi i have problem with Device Association Framework Provider Host..

I checked das host is running from right place C:\Windows\System32

Its signed by ms.

How to stop it? It is hundreds broadcast connections per miute..

System is updated, antivirus is working.

    The "Add device" blue option will be greyed out in the GUI interface, but I can still add a printer using the manufacturer's installation tool by inputting the target printer’s IP address or network scanning.

    The key may be controlled within the Settings Explorer only.

    I will try deploying this key to more machines tomorrow to observe the outcome.

    Hey, thanks for the information. When you set this registry key, does it completely block the ability to add new printers?

    Today, I had accessed 3 machines, two are new installed within half year and 1 are old machine. The printing driver are not updated recently.

    In Microsoft Photos, opening the print dialog each time generates a new dashost.exe process (as shown in the figure).

    Only the method mentioned by above member can solve the issue.

    My workplace has up to 400 computers. And the flooding issue is mainly on several user computer.

    We had applied the registry patch for Software\Microsoft\Print\UnifiedPrintDialog = 1 and disable the fast startup, but seems some computers (under 10 PCs) are still suffer (5000 UPD broadcast per day).

    Windows Pro 24h2 yeah it is still UDP Storming when user use "photos" --> print
