I swear that you're not alone, man..I have been searching for it since year 2021...until now, there is still no checkbox found, not to say any solution for this. Only keyboard is functioning by default (without ticking or adjusting any setting) after I displaying wirelessly through Samsung DEX, but neither usb mouse nor touchpad on the laptop is working.

Personally, I dont think its the problem of SAMSUNG DEX. The checkbox mentioned by the system as well as in the reply of @Zack_DP to this thread is not found on any of my setting. @Zack_DP please provide a better solution for this, since this problem is persisted for YEARS. Improve or solve the bugs please.

    Hello Harsh,

    Greetings from Microsoft Community,

I can totally understand your frustration. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue.

    1. Open the Connect Menu:
    • Press Windows + K to open the Connect menu.
    • Select your device from the list of connected displays.
    1. Enable Input:
    • Once connected, click on the connected device in the Connect menu.
    • Look for an option to Allow Input or Enable Input from this device. If available, enable it.
    1. Check Wireless Display Settings:
    • Go to Settings > System > Projecting to this PC.
    • Ensure the option Allow input from a keyboard or mouse connected to this display is checked.
    1. Restart the Connection:
    • Disconnect and reconnect your device to the laptop.
    • Recheck the input settings after reconnecting.
    1. Update Windows:
    • Ensure your Windows system is up to date, as updates may fix compatibility issues with Wireless Display.

If the issue still occurs. You can reach out to Microsoft live support on - Contact Us - Microsoft Support or get help app.

Please let us know if it works for you.

    Kind regards

Zack | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
