How do I find a highly qualified certified technician for in person service?

I recently replaced my monitor. I am having problems I never had before. I am unable to access my external hard drive; my computer is locking up and experimentation results in some correction. i.e. it unlocks for a few seconds if I turn off the speakers; I find I have more than one copy of some files. One copy of a music file plays the music, the other is silent. I am trying to find a certified technician who will help me. If you know of the procedure I could follow to find somebody I would be most appreciative. There used to be a Microsoft store in White Plains NY. They had several highly competent technicians. Is there any way to locate some of them. I badly need help.

    Hi!

Thank you for posting your query on community forum!

As I understand you are looking for Microsoft Certified Technician for in-person support, Microsoft provides in-person support only for Microsoft devices such as (surface devices) however, you can contact to Microsoft Support for personal assistance (online) they have advance tool such has live chat support, remote session, where you can get assistance from certified professionals. Here I am sharing you the link through which you can contact them:
    Contact Us - Microsoft Support

But if you are looking for in-person support for your Windows device you can find some third-party service provider/store at your local area, you can look for them over the internet.

I hope this answers your query but if you need further assistance feel free to reply.

    Best regards,
