StackHash errors for some applications

Hello,

I am on W11 and it's been a few weeks I have this issue on some specific applications/games. While I'm running those latters, the application stopped responding and was closed without any error message or anything else. It just throwed me back to the desktop.

So I searched through the reliability history in the security and maintenance panel and found there was lots of critical events:

-Stopped responding and was closed

I've checked if there was any update to be downloaded. I've restarted my computer with win + R, msconfig, disabling all services except the Microsoft ones...
And now I tried to run some command prompt to know what's going on and how to fix it:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

However the last prompt showed a progress bar which is stuck to 62,3% for 1 hour now.

Is my computer somehow corrupted?
How can I fix all those issues?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Gabriel,

I am Pau, an independent advisor. I know how hard it can be when your applications unexpectedly crash. I will walk you through the steps that will completely address the StackHash BEX64 and AppHangB1 errors, as well as resolve the issue with the stuck DISM command.

Kindly adhere to the following steps with attention:

    > Restart your computer and launch Command Prompt with administrative privileges.

    > Execute: sfc /scannow and allow it to finish. This will resolve issues with corrupted system files.

    > Once SFC is complete, execute: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth to fix the Windows image.

    > Once DISM has successfully completed, restart your PC again.

    > Navigate to Settings > Windows Update > Verify if there are any updates available and proceed to install all of them.

    > Upgrade the impacted application (Jump Ship.exe) to the most recent version available on the official website.

    > Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date: Access Device Manager > Navigate to Display adapters > Right-click on your GPU > Select Update driver.

    > First, turn off any third-party antivirus or security software for the time being, and then proceed to test the application.

    > If crashes continue, execute a clean boot:

Hit Win + R, enter msconfig, and then hit Enter.

Navigate to the Services tab, select “Hide all Microsoft services,” and then click on “Disable all.”

Navigate to the Startup tab > Access Task Manager > Turn off all startup items.

Reboot your computer and check the application.

    > If the application functions properly in a clean boot, gradually re-enable services and startup items individually to identify the source of the conflict.

    > If the previous solutions do not resolve the issue, proceed to uninstall and then reinstall the application that is experiencing problems.

    > As a final step, utilize the official Microsoft Windows 11 Repair Install (retain files and applications):

Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo... and adhere to the provided instructions to fix your system.

This website is not affiliated with Microsoft. The page seems to be correct and secure. Be vigilant about advertisements that may promote unnecessary software and take the time to examine them thoroughly before proceeding with any downloads.

By adhering to these steps, you will effectively resolve system corruption, software conflicts, and update issues that are leading to your crashes and errors.

If you require any additional assistance or clarification, feel free to get in touch. I’m confident this will restore your system’s stability.

    Have a nice day!

    Best regards,

    Pau
