My PC is running slow and very ackward. Tried cleaning disk and etc. Did not help. Also no malware from what I can see. Would backing up my files to one drive and resetting my computer would help? I want to increase the speed of my computer but also do not want to lose my files! I am not very computer literate but need help! Thank you!

If that doesn't work, It seems that the system files are already corrupted causing the problem. Create a bootable Windows 10 installation and proceed with a clean installation.

    Jan,

Couldn’t execute “setup” during iso. Couldn’t find a place to enter setup. By the way thanks for all your help.

Hello, my name is Jan and I am happy to help you today. I am sorry you are experiencing this problem with your PC. Resetting the PC will improve the performance as this process will restore your device to its original state. This will remove applications, and background processes and services that may be slowing down your system.

To improve the PC performance without losing your files. Here are some things you can try.

    1. Try reinstalling or updating these graphics, audio, and chipset drivers. Download them from the manufacturer's support website and install them. Do not use driver downloader software to update the driver.
    2. Perform a clean boot to disable unnecessary startup programs and services.
