    Hi,

If you have downloaded the Disc Image File, you can use the Rufus tool to create a USB Bootable installation media drive.

Download the Rufus tool here -

    https://rufus.ie/

Connect the USB drive and Run the Rufus tool.

Under Device, select the USB flash drive.

Under Boot selection, select your Windows ISO file.

Under Target system, select BIOS or UEFI.

For reference: Read Option 2 in the link:

Use "Rufus" to create Bootable Window 10 USB for Legacy BIOS and UEFI

    Hi,

Sometimes the issue could be caused by the USB installation media itself.

I recommend trying a different USB port and restarting the Media Creation Tool, or use another USB drive to see if that helps.

If the problem continues, you can try creating a new bootable USB using the Rufus tool.

    Best regards,

    Gunasekar N

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

If you have another computer, you can use it to create a Windows 11 USB bootable installation media and use it to clean install Windows.

If not, you can try restarting the Windows firewall and Windows update services and see if it helps.

    1. Click Windows + R key, type services.msc and click ok.
    2. Locate Windows Update and Windows Defender Firewall services.
    3. Double-click each services and set the startup type to automatic, and restart both services.
Or select Stop and click Start.

Then, right-click the Media Creation Tool and select Run as Administrator.
See if you are able to create a USB Bootable installation media.

If the issue persists, run the System File Checker Utility scan. Open the command prompt as Administrator, execute these commands one by one and click Enter.

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    sfc /scannow

Restart your computer and run the Media Creation Tool as Administrator.

If you are still having issues, you can download the .ISO file from the Media Creation Tool or from the official Windows 11 website and use the Rufus tool to create a bootable installation media drive.
