Computer screen freezes, how do I unfreeze it?

While playing a game my screen freezes, the cursor does not move & I can't get computer to respond in any way. How do I unfreeze the screen?

    Does this happen all the time?

    Did this happen after any changes on your PC?

    Did this happen in all games and apps?

    Have you tried to hard restart of your device? Press and hold the power button for at least 10-20 seconds, until your computer completely shuts off. Turn off or unplug your power adapter. Check for any loose hardware, like the graphics card or memory card.

    Wait for a few seconds, then plug in your power adapter and turn on your device. Observe if you still have the same issue.
