No WiFi drivers in Acer Aspire Lite AL15-41

Hello,

I've been having issues with my WiFi drivers due to which I had to uninstall them, however was not able to reinstall them again.

My device driver doesn't show any WiFi drivers in Network Adapters - I only have Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller. TAP-Windows Adater for Ethernet.

I tried to install "Wireless LAN_Realtek_6001.15.154.0_W11x64_(RTL8852BE)" and "Wireless LAN_Atheros_12.0.0.1259_W11x64_A" but none of them add a WiFi driver in the Device Manager.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

    1. Many thanks, the Realtek driver provided by Acer via the given link worked for me.
    2. I was doing a fresh install of Win 11 Home on my Aspire Lite AL15-41 & it couldn't detect the Ethernet & gave me the Install Driver button.
    3. I unplugged the bootable USB drive, copied unzipped Realtek driver folder & from another laptop and plugged back the bootable USB drive.
    4. clicked the Install Driver button & simply pointed to the bootable USB drive.
    5. it picked the Ethernet driver & started to detect my WiFi network wherein I supplied my n/w password.

Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

    Thanks for the clarification.

In this case, I suggest doing the following:

    • Download the latest chipset driver from the link below and install it.

(This driver is important because the chipset is crucial for communication between peripherals and the processor.)

    https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver...

(Extract the ZIP file, run the file "AMD_Chipset_Software", and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.)

Then, restart your PC and see if there are any changes in Device Manager, including devices with a warning sign or named as unknown. Or whether the Wi-Fi will work.

If the problem persists, let me know. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.

Feel free to ask back any questions.

    Thanks for the screenshots.

I don't believe this device with a warning sign is related to your issue.

I found the drivers for your device. They seem to be well hidden on Acer's website for some reason. Here is the link.

    https://www.acer.com/in-en/support/product-supp...

Download the Realtek driver provided by Acer from the link below and install it.

    https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver...

After decompressing the ZIP file, you will find several folders containing drivers. I recommend installing the drivers from each of these folders.

After installing the drivers, restart your PC and see if the Wi-Fi will work properly.

Feel free to install any other available Wi-Fi drivers from the Acer download page. It's fine to install drivers for Wi-Fi adapters you don't have.

If the problem persists, let me know. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.

Feel free to ask back any questions.

    Hello David,

Thank you very much for your response.

I had uninstalled the driver due to connectivity issues - there were no options shown to connect to any WiFi network. I had managed to download a Qualcomm driver last week which worked for a while, however it would disconnect after every restart and I would have to disable then enable it from the Device manager.

Yes, I uninstalled the driver via Device manager.

I believe I downloaded the Atheros driver from a site called Driveridentifier, while I downloaded the Realtek driver from the Realtek website. I also had the Realtek driver installation folder on my computer left by a repair shop after I gave it to be repaired. When I received the laptop, however, the WiFi would show the networks but I wasn't able to connect to any WiFi network. It would tell me that the network is using an old security standard.

After the Qualcomm driver started working, I didn't have that problem anymore, it simply would disconnect after each reboot.

    Thank you!

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

It is necessary to investigate to understand why this happened.

    Please clarify the following:

What problem were you having that made you uninstall the driver?

Did you uninstall the driver via Device Manager or using another method?

If you used another method, can you specify which one?

Where did you download the installer you used to reinstall the driver?

You can leave the link or tell me the name of the website.

I await your reply. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.
