this "Let the app change my printing preferences" simple setting by M$ has confused users than doing anything useful.

why can't just let users choose the printing setting directly from the dialog provided by the printer?

stop wasting the resources to take over the printing dialog box from the printer.

and nobody knows which exactly the settings will be used for the output.

let the original dialog box from printer driver do their job!

    Hello,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forum. Please accept our warmest regards and sincerest hope that all is well despite the situation you find yourself in.

I understand your frustration with the printing preferences in Windows 11. To address this issue, you can disable the "Let the app change my printing preferences" setting by following these steps:

    1. Open the Settings app by pressing Windows key + I.
    2. Go to Devices > Printers & scanners.
    3. Scroll down and click on "Print server properties" under Related settings.
    4. In the Print Server Properties window, go to the Advanced tab.
