After I installed this update (KB5063060) it ruined my GeForce 4090's blue displaying capabilities. Literally, the colors are not "in sync". I restored my system to before this update and it works fine. I tried messing with the drivers themselves and no good. Something is off with this update.

I have the same problem. I have tried several times and it continues to loop. It either fails to download or fails on install.

I have an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D APU paired with a MERC/AMD RX7900XTX GPU and am having the same problem. The graphics are unstable after the update, and I have mostly green hues. Web sites sometimes work properly but when I go back to the desktop all is a green hue again. I uninstalled KB5063060 and all works properly. I reinstalled the update and the problem returned. I have uninstalled this update and will not allow any windows updates to occur until the problem is solved. All drivers are up to date.

I will do the following and try reinstalling the update again based on your suggestion:

**Step1: Turn Off Auto HDR which this update can mess with color if Auto HDR is on.

On Start icon you may go to Settings >> then System >> then Display >> click HDR >> then turn off Auto HDR

**Step2: Turn Off “Auto Color Management”

On Start icon you may go to Settings >> then System > then Display > Advanced Display >> and look for Automatically manage colors for apps >> then if it is on, turn it off.

I'll let you know if Steps 1 and 2 solves the problem. Thank You for the suggestion and am glad it's not my video card.

    Regards,

    -Mark-

I did not know about the Uninstall Updates option, this spares me a system restore. That is the only working option and it works PERFECTLY. Thank you. Still - Microsoft Support, this specific update caused this (removing it restores my display to its good graces and ONLY removing it does this), SOMETHING is wrong with this.

    Hi Avi_Dor,

Thanks for reaching out Microsoft Community Forum. I know how upsetting it is when a Windows update disrupts your display colors, especially with such a high-end graphics card. Let me help you find more permanent solution.

You may follow these steps to fix it:

**Step1: Turn Off Auto HDR which this update can mess with color if Auto HDR is on.

On Start icon you may go to Settings >> then System >> then Display >> click HDR >> then turn off Auto HDR

**Step2: Turn Off “Auto Color Management”

On Start icon you may go to Settings >> then System > then Display > Advanced Display >> and look for Automatically manage colors for apps >> then if it is on, turn it off

    **Step3: Update your NVIDIA Driver
There are possibilities the graphics driver might fix the color issues.

Simply go to: www.nvidia.com/Download >> then download the latest driver for your GeForce RTX 4090 >> Install it >> then restart your PC

**Step4: Roll back the Update (If nothing helps and your display still looks wrong)

On Start icon you may open Settings >> Windows Update >> then Update History >> then click Uninstall updates >> then you find KB5063060 >> and click Uninstall

This may put your system back the way it was before the problem.

I hope this helps and works for you.

    Best Regards,
