Microsoft Autoroute Replacement

Hi,

I've been tasked with finding a replacement for Autoroute for an older colleague. Our workplace has removed it due to its end of life status.

The way he used to software is at odds with the what you can do with Google or Bing maps. He plots over 1000 locations and selects from the list as and when the client requests a visit creates a route map of them.

I've looked for alternatives that can do this and everything has an extortionate subscription which as a business we cannot afford. Would it be possible to publish a security patch for the last version of autoroute or do you have any recommendations?

Thanks,

James

Good day, thanks for your question. I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. For this, a patch is not feasible anymore because Microsoft Autoroute has been discontinued last 2015 and hence you might want to look at a couple of alternatives or options below that might suit the setup that you currently have.

    > QGIS (Free, Open-Source GIS Software)

    > RouteXL (Free for up to 20 stops | Paid for additional/if needed more)

    > Google Earth Pro

    > Badger Maps

    > Maptive

    > Route4Me

    > MyRouteOnline

    > Scribble Maps Pro

    > EasyTerritory (Can be integrated with Microsoft Power BI and Dynamics 365)

    Regards,

    Paul R.
