I'm trying to play minecraft for like months, because i even paid for it, but in the xbox app, microsoft store app, like everywhere that is needed a microsoft account, i can't access. Maybe its because my account got hacked like 9 months ago, but i got it back and people are still trying to get in it, but idk why. I tried everything, removing microsoft store and getting it back, tried everything with the xbox app, did everything that youtube video said, but still nothing. PLEASE HELP!

Its even a windows thing... when i go to the settings then account then my info, it says i need to verify my identity, and when i press that, it says that there are problems with the server (even tho is not true) and to try it in a couple minutes, even tho i try everyday. Please help.

Hey there! My name is Jason one of your Team here in Microsoft So I'm truly sorry that you're still going through this — it sounds amazingly frustrating, to say nothing of having paid for Minecraft and being unable to play it for months. I sort some information just for you Rocco to help you out alright

You mentioned that your account was hacked 9 months ago and that it continues to be attacked. Here's how to shut it down completely:

    Go to: https://account.microsoft.com/security

Click "Review activity" – check if someone else is signing in. then

Update your password right away. then

Enable 2-step verification with an authenticator app (not SMS).

This secures it 100x against hackers trying to log in again.

Also Verify You Actually Own Minecraft (Microsoft Store or Java)

You must verify if your Minecraft license still has your Microsoft account tied to it:

For Minecraft Java or Bedrock on PC:

    Go here https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/profile then

Sign in to your Microsoft account

Minecraft: Java Edition or Bedrock Edition should be there

If not, the game is associated with another account (maybe from the hack) then

    For Microsoft Store/Xbox App:

    Visit https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

    Check for a Minecraft purchase

If the game is not there, it was probably refunded or canceled during the hack

Repair Xbox App + Microsoft Store

Even if the game is associated with your account, login issues may be caused by corrupted Xbox/Microsoft Store apps.

    Try these sequentially:

Reset Xbox App and Microsoft Store:

Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Search for Xbox and Microsoft Store then

Click Advanced Options > Reset then

Reinstall Gaming Services (sometimes resolves Xbox app issues):

Open PowerShell as Admin and execute:

    powershell

    Copy

    Edit

    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

This will reinstall Gaming Services through the Microsoft Store

Log out and log back into Xbox app + Microsoft Store:

Ensure you are using the same Microsoft account that purchased Minecraft

Launch the Xbox app, then Settings > Account and re-sign in

    Look for Conflicting Accounts

Occasionally Xbox/Microsoft services get confused when:

You are signed in with multiple Microsoft accounts in the Xbox app and Store

Or if a "local" Windows account is a sync cause Hope it will help you out Rocco Have a great day rocco
