How can I buy a copy of Windows 10 Professional, e.g., can run IIS and the Web site I've developed? I need the ISO, sure, but most of all I need the Product Key, I want to BUY, spend own money in US Dollars. Willing to buy on-line and pay via Debit card. As it is it looks like Microsoft wants to get out of selling operating systems and force everyone to Linux or a cloud service. Instead, I want to BUY. Clicked many hundreds of times with no answer. Please, Please, Please, many times, PLEASE tell me how to BUY. PLEASE. I am DESPERATE. and MUST get on with my WORK. DESPERATE. PLEASE tell me how to BUY! PLEASE!!!!!

    Hello Castor

Thank you so much for reaching out, I am Udit an independent advisor, and I am glad to assist you today with this issue.

Step 1: Go to the Microsoft Store online

    Visit this link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9NRDX...

This is where Microsoft sells Windows 11 Pro directly. You’ll see the price (around $199.99 USD). This purchase gives you a digital license and a product key.

Step 2: Buy the Windows 11 Pro license

Click “Buy” and sign in with your Microsoft account (or create one if needed). You can pay using a debit card. After purchase, you’ll receive a product key — save that somewhere safe. This key will also work with Windows 10 Pro.

Step 3: Download the Windows 10 ISO

    Go to this link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/win...

Click “Download tool now” to get the Media Creation Tool. Run it, and it will let you create installation media (like a bootable USB) or download the ISO file.

Step 4: Install Windows 10 Pro

Use the ISO or USB you created to install Windows 10 on your computer. During the installation, when it asks for a product key, enter the one you received after purchasing Windows 11 Pro. It will activate Windows 10 Pro.

Step 5: Finish setup and confirm activation

Once installation is complete, go to Settings > System > Activation. You should see that Windows is activated with a digital license.

Please let me know how it goes, and if you need any further assistance.

    Regards

    Udit

Sorry. When I tried your URL, I got a message back that the URL didn't exist. After some hundreds of clicks and hours trying at the

"Microsoft Store" I could find only lots of

ads for products I don't want and nothing

about buying and activating Windows 10 or 11. Since then (1) my old Windows 7 Professional Product Key is said to work with Windows 10.

    (2) I have an HP that came with Windows 11

that I found unacceptable and, then, from

buying a thumb drive said to have Windows

10 did an install and it runs. Apparently

    the install used

the License in the UEFI of the HP that

apparently works for both 11 that HP

    installed and 10 that I did. But I don't

trust the thumb drive so am about to use

the Media Creation tool (supposed to work

on 10 but won't work on 7, which actually

WORKS!!!!!!!!). Then my concern is for the

future as I build servers for my Web site (running on VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, IIS, etc,) for my business -- I want to settle on

Windows 10 Professional with IIS, etc.

As I build those servers, maybe the

motherboards I buy from ASUS, MSI,

GIGABYTE, etc. will have a UEFI BIOS

with a Windows 10/11 license, so

I've looked a little but don't see clear

facts from the sites of those motherboard companies. So,

I'm still concerned about how to

get the Windows 10 licenses. Maybe just buy

    Windows 11, get the Product

Key, and use that key when

    installing 10. Generally it's

    many hours and many hundreds

of clicks for very poor information,

mud wrestling in the dark. Maybe

I should look into Linux. Microsoft,

you are forcing me into mud

wrestling, lots of TIFO (try it and

find out) efforts shooting in the

dark as if you really HATE your

customers and want to push them

to Linux. I want Windows 10

Professional. I urge you to KEEP

    selling it, even without "support".

Your "support" for my Windows 7

has been EXCELLENT, right up to

today again offering an update to

    Windows Defender. Once got

updates to 7 that took most of

a day. Recently got more updates,

    have a total of ~145. I LIKE

    1. I do want to move to 10.

11? Not soon. By the way

    you have a SERIOUS security

    bug in this Web site.
