    Hi Thomas,

I’m Pau, your Independent Advisor. Thanks for reaching out. I know this process might sound technical, but I will guide you through it step by step in the simplest way possible.

Please back up your files before proceeding to ensure nothing important is lost.

    Here’s what to do:

    1. Press Windows key, type msinfo32, and check BIOS Mode, if it shows Legacy, proceed with the next steps.
    2. Press Windows key, type cmd, right-click and choose Run as administrator.
    3. In the Command Prompt, type mbr2gpt /validate and press Enter to confirm your disk can be converted.
    4. If validation is successful, type mbr2gpt /convert and press Enter to convert your disk from MBR to GPT.
    5. Restart your PC and immediately press the key (usually F2, F10, or Del) to enter BIOS Setup.
    6. In BIOS, change Boot Mode or Boot Priority to UEFI and disable Legacy Support or CSM.
    7. Save changes and exit BIOS, your system will boot using UEFI.

After that, you can continue with the Windows 11 upgrade.

I hope I’ve been able to help with your concerns.

    Best regards,

    Pau
