How come my discord status stopped showing?

So, one night I kind of just turned off the show activity thing on my discord, and the next morning I turn it back on and get on a game, and for some reason, the status isn't showing up. I went through I think every possible troubleshooting tip and discord support to fix this, but nothing has worked, does anyone have a similar issue?

    Hello Joseph

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Thank you for your sharing.Try the following steps to ensure everything is set up correctly:

    • Open Discord and go to User Settings (gear icon).
    • Navigate to Activity Settings > Activity Privacy.
    • Make sure "Display current activity as a status message" is toggled on.
    • Go to Registered Games (also under Activity Settings) and check if your game is listed.   If not, you can manually add it.
    • Restart Discord after making these changes.

    Additional Tips

    • Make sure you're using the desktop client, not the browser version, as game detection may not work properly in browsers.
    • If you're playing a game that doesn't support Rich Presence, Discord might not detect it automatically.
    • Try running Discord as administrator—sometimes permission issues can block game detection.
    • Check your connection settings and ensure Discord has access to detect games.

    Best Regards,
