We have 5 users access a remote app from RDweb. All of them can access it without any issues just one user keeps getting the below error.

Licensing server shows the license for the user expires only in March 2023.

Appreciate your help.

Hi. Thank you for your question and reaching out. I’d be more than happy to help you with your query

If the remote gateway server certificate has expired, users may not be able to access the remote app from RDweb. To resolve this issue, the expired certificate must be replaced with a valid one. This can be done by obtaining a new certificate from a trusted Certificate Authority (CA) and then configuring the remote gateway server to use the new certificate. Additionally, the clients accessing the remote app must also be configured to trust the new certificate.

I ran into this exact issue. The certificate hadn’t even expired yet, which made it all the more frustrating. I tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked.

In the end, the only thing that fixed it was replacing the cert with a newly issued valid one. As soon as I did that it worked right away, seems like the old cert was being flagged incorrectly as revoked or untrusted.

While I was troubleshooting I needed a quick way to keep users connected, so I used HelpWire as a temporary workaround. Honestly I still use it from time to time for remote support. Solid backup option.

Hope this helps someone out there.
