Since 2 days IME Phonetic Keyboard is not working at all.
Windows 10, Office 2019: All updated
Moment I start typing, it predicts first alphabet correctly but not the subsequent. Any word with 3 letters in Marathi, keyboard predicts and converts only first letter and subsequent are lost.
example: I want to type Bharat ( local name for India). I will get only ब ( see screenshot).
I think it was working perfectly fine till at least 15 days before.
Please suggest ideas to resolve.

Around a week or so ago, I resetted my laptop and performed an online clean installation. Today when I tried using Marathi phonetic keyboard, it wouldn't work. I even tried performing a clean installation again, but it still doesn't work.
The phonetic keyboard doesn't convert anything that I type.
Microsoft please help.....

Now cannot type anything in Devnagari. Hence, have to go on Google. Type in Google typing and then copy-paste.

- Use the
wusa /uninstall /kb:<update_kb_number>command to uninstall specific updates (replace<update_kb_number>with the actual KB number).

2025-07-11T08:50:47.39+00:00 स्टार्ट मध्ये जावून सेटिंग मध्ये जावे. सर्च मध्ये update history मध्ये तारखेनुसार update ची लिस्ट दिलेली असेल. सर्वात खाली, related settings मध्ये Uninstall updates ला क्लिक करा. त्यात (KB062553) ह्या windows update ला uninstall करा. मी ह्या मेसेज ला अपडेट uninstall केल्यावर टाइप करून पाठवत आहे. SymptomsFollowing installation of this update, there might be issues when using the Microsoft Changjie IME (input method editor) for Traditional Chinese. Reported symptoms include:
Inability to form or select words after typing the full composition (associate phrase window).
Spacebar or blank key not responding.
Incorrect or distorted word outputs.
The conversion candidate window fails to display properly.

I have done reinstallation of the fonts again and again after deleting the fonts. Some works like काय comes but other words don't come at all. Seems a bug with मराठी language pack of Microsoft.
