Good day everyone!

I have Win 10, and today, out of nowhere, a new folder "Removable Storage Devices" appeared on my desktop, and I can't delete it. Inside the folder is the DVD drive icon and "F drive" which is an external removable drive.

If I right click on the folder, it doesn't give me the option to delete the folder like it normally does. Right-clicking opens a menu with: OPEN, PIN TO QUICK ACCESS, PIN TO START and CREATE SHORTCUT. And that's it.

How and why was that folder created and how can I remove it from the desktop?

Thank you for your help!!

That is a widely reported glitch on the desktop, usually refreshing the desktop (F5 key) or restarting (not shut down) Windows should remove that folder from your Desktop.
