why i cant drag and drop apps onto m,y home screen

ive tried all ways to drap and drop apps onto my home screen but is not working. ive tried copy or move app to home screen and still wont work. please help

    1. May I please know if you're trying to move Windows apps to your desktop's Home screen?

    Click Windows + R key, type shell:appsfolder and click Ok.

    • In the list of apps, right-click the app you want to move to the Homescreen and select 'Create Shortcut'.
    • It will display 'Windows can't create a shortcut here. Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead?'; click yes.
    • You will see the shortcut on the desktop Homescreen.
