Hi, Thank You for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A. Please note That Disabling Windows Defender potentially makes your Device vulnerable to external threats, such as malware, Viruses, and trojans. I cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your computer. Do this at your own risk. Steps to disable Windows Defender:
- Open Windows Defender (Some Devices are Windows Security)
- Go to Virus & Threat protection
- Go to Virus & Threat protection settings by clicking the Manage settings
- Disable Real-time Protection
- Disable Dev Drive protection (If you have)
- Disable Cloud-delivered Protection
- Disable Automatic sample submission
- Disable Tamper Protection.
NOTE: DISABLING VIRUS & THREAT PROTECTION MAKES YOUR COMPUTER VULNERABLE TO VIRUSES. FOR THAT REASON, Windows Security (Or Windows Defender) WILL AUTOMATICALLY TURN IT BACK ON, LEAVING IT TURNED OFF TEMPORARILY.
This is it. For disabling Windows Defender, I cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your device. Do this at your own risk.
