At power up, I get an error that requires me to enter my recovery key. It notes my recovery key ID. I cannot find the recovery key even using the online recommendations. How can I have my recovery key sent to my email account associated with my Microsoft account?

if you backed up the key online goto:
https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey
it will list all your keys (id and value). you can also try:
https://myaccount.microsoft.com
click devices, and select device. then click on view BitLocker keys
if you did not save online, you need to find where you wrote the key value down.
I had no luck finding the encryption key. Given that I can provide the encryption key ID, how can I get Microsoft to email my encryption key?
