Sharing Screen in Teams: The Edge Browser window

Problem: When communicating with someone in Teams, I need to share my screen but specifically the Edge Browser window.   However, Edge is never provided as a shareable app when I select to share screen in Teams.  I typically can just revert to Chrome Browser and share that window, but some of my visited sites work only in Edge and not Chrome.  Sharing full screen isn't an option for me since I have a large monitor and others in the meeting viewing my shared full screen it will appear to them extremely small I believe due to my display settings, so I have to share specific windows (Power Point, Power BI, Browser windows, etc...)

Question: Is there an option or setting that you are aware of to enable Teams to discover the Edge Browser window in order to share it? Or Is there a Setting in Teams for when I share my full screen it will not appear so small to others in the meeting?

Hi Jim,

Thank you for posting. I have tested on my side using Teams client version 1.2.00.13765 (64-bit). However, I can successfully get my Edge Browser window available to shareable app. Here is the screenshot for your reference:

You may try to check this issue via using another PC (e.g. any colleague PC) to determine whether it is specific client side issue.

Moreover, please provide us with Teams client version and detailed steps video which you have tried via the Private Message so that we can further assist you.

Best regards,

Shyamal
