Hi,
I tried to chat with an another student from another school but it say he is unaivalable or offline so we sent a mail instead.
but when i did the test for chatting he was online and he didnt receive an mail ?
Can someone help me out?

I tried to chat with the person but it not working and he cant receive my message and i cannot receive his.
the message i get automatically ( This user is unavaible or offline. (when he is online ) Weve sent an email instead. ( wich he didnt receive ).

From your description, may I understand the person your chat with is not in your organization and the person cannot receive message you sent to him? As far as I know, when we want to chat with an external user, we can click the New chat button and type the entire email address into To field, then click Search ***@*** externally > ***@***.com (Externally). After that, we can send message to another person who is not in the same organization.
Regarding to your problem, please check if you start the chat with him following the above steps. To better help you, I'd also like to confirm whether you can receive the message he sent to you.
