MS Teams on Lenovo ThinkSmart View

I'm having trouble logging into Teams on Lenovo ThinkSmart View using free teams login.  Lenovo says it should work fine but I get error that says, "***.com.au isn't in our system.  Make sure you type it correctly."  Account and login works fine in desktop app and web version.

    yes, i can login from the web client, though for the first time.

    Thank you for your response.

    It seems issue was with the settings of the Lenovo ThinkSmart View since Teams accounts are working both in desktop app and web version.

    If you are the Teams admin, please try to check this settings:

    1. Log in to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/
    2. In the Teams Admin Center, go to Devices > Phones
    3. Check if you can see Lenovo ThinkSmart View listed there and what is the status
    4. Check also if the account log in is correctly configured there

    Hi RY

    This is my point and question. I am using a free Teams account so there is no admin role therefore no devices to manage. 

    Yet Lenovo tell me I don’t need a Teams Organisation and I need someone at Microsoft to confirm.

    yes i have tried logging in with two other working teams logins with different domain emails and got the same result.
