Submitting video files as class assignment

Hello, I am a teacher at school that is new to using office 365.

We are looking for the 'best' method to have 100+ students submit video files for an assignment.

The Teams 'submit assignment' function looked promising, but the maximum file size limit of 50MB will mean this route won't work.

Is there another easy method?

We've considered students uploading files and sending us the link from their onedrive - but they can still edit the file after submission.

Thanks for your help!

    Hi Jackson,

Sorry but as you said, the limit for assignment attachment is 50 megabytes and students can't attach bigger files.

Since this could be a good suggestion for our product group engineering team, please take a few minutes to share your suggestion via Microsoft UserVoice service. All suggestions will be considered for the following updates.

    Best regards,

    Nemanja

    Hi,

Ideally I want the students to be able to submit the file itself not the link

    Hi Jackson,

If I have understood the issue, you would like to share video URL without an option for student to unauthorized change the file.

My suggestion for this case would be to use Teams file library instead of OneDrive. After the file has been uploaded, it's possible to track when and by whom has been modified. Also, it's possible to share the file URL, same as in OneDrive.

Please let me know if you need further suggestions related to the question.

    Best regards,

    Nemanja
