Files in Microsoft Teams -- Screensharing during Meeting

How can you screenshare with files added to the team's files? I want to show a powerpoint during a meeting but can't figure out how to show the powerpoint onscreen using screenshare with files I uploaded to the class materials under Files. It seems like the files should be accessed from the Microsoft Teams folder in the Files tab on the left, but the files don't appear after being uploaded. Has anyone experienced this issue?

    Hi Bryson C

Thanks for your post in the community.

From your description, I have done some tests. Actually, the PowerPoint which are uploaded in Files tab can’t appear in the PowerPoint list when you share the screen. However, as a workaround, you can choose Microsoft Teams under Window when you share the screen.

Then you can access to the folder under Files tab below and choose the file you uploaded like the picture below.

I hope this information can help you. If you have anything unclear, please feel free to let us know.

    Regards

    Joey
