Hello,

I have registered for a copy of Microsoft Teams, but unfortunately I keep receiving an error message.

I understand this a free product so support will be limited but I have tried this on multiple devices, left it for 72 hours and tried to register with a different account too.

When creating a team I get the error message:

When I am using a private chat I get the following error message:

Any help would be appreciated.

unfortunatelly have the same issue. I can upload files to General but when created new channel it writes "we're setting up your files. Check back in a few minutes" when I want to upload something or when I click on Files tab "You don't have access to these files"

I am also facing similar problem, I created several teams from my MS Teams Organization.

All of them have problem with files and changing team picture.

When I click the file icon it always said "We are preparing your files, please check back in a few minutes"

(Both Mac Teams App and Web-based Teams App)

I tried this and instead of a prompt 'Request for Site Permission', I received the same error message:

We are setting up your file directory.

Try refreshing the page after a few minutes or check back later.

Try to Click on your Teams ---> Three Dots and Right Click and Click on Open with Sharepoint Site, if the site open successfully, then there is some other issue. If the Sharepoint site doesn't open up but comes up with a Prompt as says, Request for Site Permission, that mean the sharepoint site doesn't have given any access to the Owner or Member. So, goto Admin Center, Sharepoint Sites - Look up for your Teams Sharepoint site and check out the Policies and Ownership. If your ownership is not found add in your owner or member.

Then restart the Teams by Login Out and Login in and check again if the Files Tab or Attachment works.

    Hope it helps.

I have faced a Similar Issue with Creating Teams which was Automated via SDS Sync. What I noticed was, when Team Owners whom I assigned created teams and it will work on the first time. But, for some it created a Duplicate Name of the Sharepoint site of the teams, so please goto Your admin centre, sharepoint - Sharepoint Sites and check out, whether there are owner ship assigned. You can also check the Admin Centre User --> Group Setction. Check that particular Teams Group is duplicated. The only thing, I did was to Delete the Sharepoint and Group Teams and created another via SDS Sync. May be in your case, you can add the owners in Sharepoint policies.

In conclusion: There is something weird about sharepoint sites creation for teams and sometimes, the owners don't get to be in the sharepoint site, all the it appears in the Group.

If you need further help, perhaps I can assist.

I did wait for microsoft support its been two weeks since I Open up a ticket, but no resolutions at all.
