iPhone 11 Pro via Iriun Webcam software not working on MacBook Pro 2020

Hi!

My client is currently using Microsoft Teams and that is what I'm using to deliver my webinar sessions for them.

Here's my problem, Microsoft Teams is unable to detect my iPhone 11 Pro using Iriun webcam software as an alternative video source. It just reflects the default FaceTime HD camera (built-in). Zoom on the other hand detects it and I can use it as an alternative video source from that platform. I am encountering the problem both via wi-fi and USB connections to my laptop.

I am using a MacBook Pro 2020.

Thanks,

Mike M. Barnuevo

    Hi MikeBarnuevo,

    Thanks for your posting here.

Given your situation, firstly make sure your Teams client always the latest version and you got the latest driver.

Moreover, you may try to login Teams web app to use Iphone 11 pro as an alternative video source, see if there are any differences between Teams desktop app and Teams web app. If it works there, you can use Teams web app as a workaround.

Besides, to verify if it is a compatible webcam with Teams, we suggest you change another mobile phone to test on your Mac, to see if this issue persists there.  Also, you may change another lapotop, then use Iphone 11 pro via iriun webcam software as an alternative video source, to see whether another laptop can use it with Teams.

Feel free to let me know if you got any updates. Thanks for your time.

    Regards,

    Grace
