    Hello,

Great, so now we know that you have a Business Standard License. In order to be able to dial clients in your Teams Meeting, you need to have E5 license (for audio conferencing) or an E1 / E3 license (for a pay-per-minute basis as an add-on). These licenses differ from your current one.

These are the different types of Microsoft Office 365:
    • Microsoft 365 Apps for business
    • Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise
    • Microsoft 365 Business Standard
    • Microsoft 365 Business Premium
    • Microsoft 365 A3
    • Microsoft 365 A5
    • Microsoft 365 E3
    • Microsoft 365 E5
    • Office 365 A1 Plus
    • Office 365 A3
    • Office 365 A5
    • Office 365 E3
    • Office 365 E5

So, your company has to upgrade to Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 in order to be able to dial clients who are not from your company.

I hope this helps clarify and please let me know if I could be of further assistance. Have a great day!

    Very helpful.

What options are there other than dialing for someone which does not have Microsoft account and does not have teams installed?

    Regards

You need to buy an Audio Conferencing license. After purchasing this, when you create a new Microsoft Teams meeting in Outlook or Outlook on the web, the dial-in phone numbers and conferencing IDs are added to the meeting invite automatically.

Anyone who has the dial-in number and conference ID can join a Microsoft Teams meeting, unless the meeting organizer has locked the meeting. So even if your clients are not members of Teams, they can still join a Teams meeting from the invitation they receive in Outlook or another email application. Then, they will use the phone number provided to dial in to the meeting.

Here is how to buy the audio conferencing license: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusine...

I hope this answers your question. Please do not hesitate to reach out if your issue is still not resolved. I am always happy to help!

Thanks for sharing this info with Rola, In both the External and Guest access the user must be a Microsoft teams user. What if the user doesn't have Microsoft teams. Can a number be setup so they can dial in or they can maybe download a browser plugin etc which will allow access to the meeting?

    Regards
