Does anyone know how to get rid of the Briefcase Icon in Microsoft Teams?

It is a small, moveable, interactive Icon (see the Screenshot)

Thank you in advance.

Are you for real? Recreate a user profile on the PC to fix clearly a MS Teams glitch. NO WAY!

It is just Teams, any other Microsoft Software works well without any glitches.

    Hi Matthudson_905,

If you are using windows 10, to narrow down the issue, I would suggest you start the computer in Safe mode and check if it helps. Also, I would suggest you to keep the computer in clean boot mode and check if the issue still persists. A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

If the issue persists there, may I know if other software got this icon? Or just Teams?

    Regards,

    Grace

Thank you for your quick response. Unfortunately none of your possible solutions did work.

I can't get rid of that Icon. I have an organisation with 6 Computers and 2 of them have this problem.

    Thanks again in advance.

    Hi Matthudson_905,

    Welcome join in the forum.

It is probably your client problem, you may try to reinstall Teams desktop client to see if this issue persists there. From this link: https://teams.microsoft.com/uswe-01/downloads

Moreover, you may try to create a new user profile on your laptop then install Teams to see the result.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any updates.

    Regards,

    Grace
