Hello I want to change the duration that my Teams shows as available longer - I may be reading emails or text and not clicking or using my mouse - I don't want it to show Away after 5 minutes. How can I change that??

If you set your status manually, there is a Duration option, where you can set how long you want to have the chosen status.

    Hello!

I'm Maria, an Independent Advisor and Microsoft product user just like you.

Please refer to the link below on how to set your status manually.

Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

If you set status manually, Teams won't change your status depending on your activity.

    I hope it helps.

    Thank you, Maria

Once I changed my status manually, it did not appear away after 5 minutes of inactivity.
