Additional meeting and call-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for business
Hi Heidi,
I am one of the community member.
Yes, you can get a transcript if you have recorded the meeting. Go to the Microsoft Stream, where you will find the video. I answered this post at my work Yammer sometime ago and many found it useful, so easy copy paste here for you ;
- You need to be the owner firstly,
- Go to MS Stream and find you video
- Below the video, next to Like button, there are three dots, the ellipsis, click on that. You will find "update video detail' with a pencil symbol, click on it.
- The "Option" will pop up on the right side of the screen. But before you go there, just above your video, you need to select the language. Select English or any other language.
- Then go to Option and select “Autogenerate Captions”. Then hit “apply” above. You will need to wait for double the length of the time the video was. Yes, that is how long it takes for the transcript.
- Pick below for illustration. Hope this helps. Regards, Vas :)
